Job Description

PeerCorps Staffing is currently seeking Certified Recovery Peer Advocates (CRPA) to support individuals in recovery and behavioral health programs in the Bronx, NY.

This role is ideal for individuals who have lived experience in recovery and are passionate about helping others navigate their recovery journey through peer support, advocacy, and encouragement.

We are looking for candidates who already hold the CRPA certification and are ready to begin the onboarding process.

Position Details

• Location: Bronx, NY

• Schedule: Monday–Friday (business hours)

• Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time

• Pay: $20–$23/hour (based on experience)

• Start Date: As soon as onboarding is completed

Responsibilities

• Provide peer-based recovery support to individuals receiving behavioral health services

• Share lived experience appropriately to support clients in recovery

• Help clients identify goals and support recovery planning

• Connect clients to community resources and services

• Encourage self-advocacy and independence

• Complete documentation and progress notes as required

Requirements

• Active CRPA (Certified Recovery Peer Advocate) Certification – REQUIRED

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain professional boundaries

• Reliable and responsive during onboarding steps

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

• Experience in behavioral health, recovery programs, peer services, or case support
